This position is for 2nd Shift; Monday-Friday 2:30-11:00pm.
As a Production Lead at our Vital Proteins facility, you'll be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of our products. You'll supervise and lead a team on our production line, ensuring workflow efficiency and organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and manage completion of batch production records.
- Alert management of equipment or material issues.
- Contribute to development of Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
- Resolve or escalate personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, and identifying solutions.
- Ensure that production floor associates are trained in and follow safety rules, SOPs, GDP's, and cGMPs guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Associate degree preferred
- Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc... within a manufacturing environment.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 - 3 years of previous production lead experience
- Demonstrable experience within a similar role is required.
- Manufacturing, warehousing, or food/dietary supplement industry background preferred.
SKILLS:
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work at pace, multitask and prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team or independently.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution.
