About the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League's AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL's youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on September 3, 1995 in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate, Fulham Football Club, All Elite Wrestling, Bold Events and Iguana Investments. Since 2012, Mr. Khan's impact on the Northeast Florida community has exceeded $500 million, including charitable giving through the Jaguars Foundation, capital improvements to EverBank Stadium and the creation of Daily's Place, which hosts upwards of 40 concerts a year. The Jaguars and Iguana Investments recently opened the state-of-the-art Sports Performance Center (Miller Electric Center), which now houses all of football operations for the Jaguars, including players, coaches and other personnel. Over the next several years, the Jaguars and Iguana Investments will complete Phase 1 of the Shipyards, a reimagination of the riverfront which will include a Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences, an office building and modernized marina, as well as begin additional projects to transform the area around the stadium into a year-round, mixed-use sports and entertainment district.

Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer/Technician to join our team, dedicated to providing exceptional audio, video, and network connectivity support for a wide range of events, including football games, concerts, stadium events, and private functions. As a key member of our Technology team, this role will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and top-quality audiovisual experiences, contributing to the overall success and satisfaction of our clients and event attendees. Responsibilities will encompass design, configuration, setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and on-site technical support, requiring a strong aptitude for technology and a passion for delivering unparalleled event experiences for the Jaguars, Bold Event and the City of Jacksonville. Job Responsibilities
Jaguars and Bold Events:
  • Computer network support for all events
  • Technical support for football games at EverBank Stadium
  • Support audio and video production for concerts and other private events
  • Facilitate TV network broadcasts at the stadium and Football Training Facility
  • Collaborate with production team on live events and broadcast productions
  • Support Jaguars radio production and studio
  • Maintain Jaguars-owned video and audio equipment
  • Video and network equipment setup as required
  • Fiber optic patching and testing
  • After hours support (onsite when necessary)
  • Other duties as assigned by Jags IT, Cinema, and Broadcasting to support productions
  • Documentation of technical systems and infrastructure
  • Assist with infrastructure design for future projects
City of Jacksonville:
  • Maintain city-owned video and audio equipment at EverBank stadium
  • Fiber patching and testing for City events
  • Support football games and live events in coordination with the City's facility management and 3rd party AV systems consultants
  • Interface with TV networks in support stadium events
  • Perform equipment upgrades and ensure secure operation procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by facility management to support stadium productions
Job Requirements
Required
  • Minimum 5 years technical experience
  • Previous experience or internship in a similar role, preferably in a broadcast, live event, or sports production environment
  • Computer network expertise will be required; any related experience is helpful
  • Knowledgeable in current computer operating systems, software and standards
  • Familiarity with audio/video standards and troubleshooting procedures
  • Experience with audio and RF video signal distribution on platforms such as SMPTE 2110, Dante, QSC Q-Sys, ZeeVee and Blonder Tongue
  • Experience with AV distribution over media such as Triax, SDI, video/audio patch panels, twinax, and fiber optics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Required to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods of time; Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, lift and carry up to 35 pounds
Preferred
  • Broadcast video switching knowledge of Ross Carbonite and NewTek TriCasters
  • Ross product experience with Inception, XPression, Mira, Abekas, and OpenGear
  • Evertz video router experience
  • Daktronics product experience
  • Some experience troubleshooting LED Video boards
  • Broadcast intercom systems, Talkback/monitor systems experience
  • Availability to maintain a 24x7x365 environment
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
