This position provides and manages full range supervisory duties in a fast paced production environment. Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, staffing, training administration, policy administration, safety awareness, quality control, production efficiencies, sanitation, employee moral, and overall Company objectives.
Essential Functions/Duties:
· Staffing: Responsible for maintaining a sufficient crew size to meet production standards. Must communicate on a regular basis with the scheduling department and the on site Temporary Agency representative, as well as Shipping, Receiving and the Coating Departments. Approve records for the purpose of Time and Attendance. Prepare for absenteeism and turnover in essential positions.
· Training: Administer proper training programs for job performance, safety, sanitation, job advancement and Company objectives.
· Policy Administration: Implement Company policies. Educate employees on Company objectives and policies. Ensure that all policies are adhered to at all times.
· Safety: Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring that all safety rules and regulations are being met. Communicate with the safety representative and properly document all safety related incidents.
· Quality Control: This requires continual monitoring of quality, working with the Quality Control Technician, Leadpeople, Line Techs and other production personnel.
· Efficiencies: This requires continual monitoring of production standards for all departments.
