Job description

This position is primarily responsible for performing a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Production

Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, trailers, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays utilizing appropriate tools/equipment to accomplish task.

Accurately load customers and delivery drivers

Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task.

Receive and oranize inventory

Stacks and assembles materials onto pallets.

Inspects, cleans, and maintains work area, machines, and equipment.

Assists machine operators as needed by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.

Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

Operates Heavy Equipment.

Opens bales, crates, and other containers.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

General

Operates snow removal equipment to maintain driveway, parking lots and sidewalks.

Maintains a safe, clean working environment, complying with applicable OSHA regulations.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pervious heavy equipment operation experience highly desired

Valid Driver's License Required
