We seek a dedicated individual to play a crucial role in assisting new moms and moms-to-be to access breast pumps and other Maternity Products through their health insurance benefits. As a Maternity Products Customer Service Specialist, you will be the principal liaison between customers, medical professionals, and our sales and billing departments.

Who is Neb Doctors/Pumps for Mom? Neb Doctors is a leading provider of respiratory products and supplies to medical practices and hospitals, ensuring real-time access to nebulizers, chambers, phototherapy, breast pumps, and other Maternity Products. Join us in our mission to help patients get easier access to the medical equipment they need for better outcomes. Our Pumps for Mom Division supports new and expecting mothers by providing breast pumps and Maternity Products through medical insurance, partnering with OBYGNs, Birthing Hospitals, Pediatricians, and Moms to offer support before, during, and after pregnancy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop strong relationships with referral sources (OBGYN Offices, Birthing Hospitals, and Pediatric Offices). The relationship with our referral sources is the foundation of our business.
- Provide quality Customer Service by answering calls from patients and physician practices.
- Actively reach out to patients and referrals to assist in the sales process.
- Manage and process orders through our CRM (Salesforce)
- Request Pre-authorizations when needed and follow protocols for missing clinic and patient information.
- Handle hard copies of purchase agreements submitted by local sales reps.
- Submit complete orders to the billing team.
- Call, text, and email customers to assist and educate them on the breast pump and other Maternity Products.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage crises calmly and professionally.
- Ability to concentrate on tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, financial, and company information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
