About the Role
Production Specialists are responsible for all aspects of the physical production of signs, which includes preparing substrates and applying vinyl according to written instructions and under general direction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of the physical construction and assembling of signs from computer cut vinyl and wide format full color printouts
- Prepare substrates and apply vinyl or other media according to written instructions
- Install a variety of signs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
- Weed excess vinyl from computer cut images
- Complete accurate installation records and documentation
- Review job requirements and verify measurements before starting
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation challenges that may arise
- Understand and meet schedules
- Vehicle wrapping
- Execute additional tasks as needed

Physical Demands
Position requires approximately 10% sitting, 50% walking and 40% standing. The ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel is required on a frequent basis. The ability to reach with hands and arms and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl on an occasional basis is required. Also, the position requires the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken words. Clear vision at 20 inches or less and at 20 feet or more is required. The ability to identify and distinguish colors is required. This position also requires peripheral vision and depth perception. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis is required. Job holder must work near moving mechanical parts on an occasional basis and is exposed to outdoor weather conditions on a consistent basis.
