We are currently hiring for a Production Process Scheduler at our Cudahy, WI (Milwaukee, WI) operation. Production Process Scheduler are part of an integral team of quality and technical professionals who take great pride in helping ATI achieve production and quality goals and objectives.
As a Production Process Scheduler, you will be responsible for assisting with planning, scheduling, and coordinating material and order/die room work orders to ensure that functions are consistent with coordination through production supervision.
A successful Production Process Scheduler is detail oriented; customer focused and has good time management skills.
In order to become successful, you must be able to quickly learn ATI, our products, processes and quality standards. This is a first shift role from 7am-3:30pm (Monday through Friday).
Responsibilities
- Analysis and follow-up of raw materials, inventory and scheduling of tooling. Responds to schedules in relation to customer’s required date and coordinate pertinent facets of scheduling necessary to ship by ATI’s commitment date.
- Assist a Production Process Scheduler with planning and scheduling of appropriate phases of order from material planning and requisition through shipment of parts. Assigns, per department policy, lot sizes, tooling, forging or machining dates to orders considering such requirements as material availability, quantity on order, cutting method, tooling, forging procedure, existing work center loads, etc. Schedules jobs consistent with priorities and commitment date.
- Initiate Die Room Work Orders, including lot number assignment, issuance of orders prior to material arrival.
- Prepare subcontracting orders, shipping and receiving request for the Die Room for review.
- Maintain appropriate information on raw material inventory, material on order, Manufacturing Orders, Die Room Work Orders and work in process.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate Material, Die Room Work Orders, Machining, Welding, and Processing functions vital to Forge Tool completion necessary to meet customer orders.
- Responsibilities include acquisition and follow-up of raw materials, coordinate planning of Die Room Work Orders, creating and issuing work orders to shop areas.
- Assist with scheduling shop floor processing of jobs, tooling, material and returned parts by preparing schedule priority lists or by verbal instruction to supervisor in charge. Follows up, in order to ensure forgings being made in time to meet ATI’s commitment to customer requirements.
- Review, develop, and update necessary information using appropriate planning and scheduling systems to assure up-to-date information on material, order, tooling, jobs, etc.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications)
- Associate degree in Manufacturing/Production Engineering.

- Basic blueprint reading

- Microsoft Office.
