IMAGINE THIS:

  • Starting wage is $18/hr for QUALIFIED CANDIDATES.
  • Three shift options available:
  • First shift work, no nights or weekends (unless production needs are high).
  • Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday - work 36 hours, get paid for 40!!!

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Measure, weigh or otherwise count pet food products into appropriate amounts to adhere to requirements and specifications.
  • Place meat/fish pet products on trays.
  • Lift trays and slide onto the cart.
  • Place labels or other identifying signage on carts.
  • Fill out production paperwork.
  • Report issues with regards to the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to the Director of Quality Assurance or executive leadership team and adhere to the requirements of the FSMS.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Perform all task requests, regardless of job level.

SUCCESS FACTOR SNAPSHOT:

First 30 days:

  • Successfully onboard and develop an understanding of our organization, mission, team, products and role expectations.
  • Learn Carnivore Culture.

First 60 days:

  • Successfully pass annual testing for blood borne pathogens and lockout/tag-out.

First 90 days:

  • Complete department-specific training and other business-related applications by learning SOPs associated with your area of responsibility.
  • Exhibit Carnivore Culture behaviors.

First 6 months:

  • Follow SOPs for your equipment or process without supervision

First 9 months:

  • Learn set-up for your area under supervision.

First 12 months:

  • Perform set-ups for your area without supervision and pass annual retests.

Ongoing:

  • Champion and mentor others in Carnivore Culture behaviors.
  • Consistently meet or exceed production goals.

Stretch Goals – We believe in career advancement!

  • Train others to do set-up for your area.
  • Learn SOPs for second machine or process.
  • Consistently meet or exceed production goals for second machine or process.
  • Learn how to do set-up for second machine or process under supervision.
  • Perform set-ups for multiple machines or processes without supervision and pass annual retests.
  • Train others how to do set-ups for multiple machines and processes.
  • Become a specialist and/or technical expert in your area of responsibility!

Requirements:

OTHER:

Pre-employment drug screen and confidentiality agreement required. Position based in Green Bay, WI. No relocation assistance available.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience & Abilities:

  • No experience preferred.
  • Able to safely lift up to 60 pounds frequently and stand for entire shift.
  • Able to safely walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, turn, stretch, reach, etc.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work well in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to count accurately.
  • Must feel "at home" in a multi-cultural, refrigerated, meat-processing environment.
