Job Requirements
The Production Process Operator is responsible for accomplishing daily production tasks as a member of the Madison Manufacturing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this position successfully, the candidate should be able to perform the following tasks including, but not limited to:
•Operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing equipment on multiple production lines to meet or exceed established production goals cost-effectively.
•Follow safety guidelines and regulatory requirements
•Prepare accurate written records via established Good Documentation Practices.
•Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling, and storage of food and dietary supplement products.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•High School Diploma/GED
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
•Basic math and computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Ability to read, comprehend, and follow oral & written procedures and instructions
•Willing and able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Knowledgeable about safe food handling and Good Manufacturing Practices
•Previous experience with HACCP, food safety, and general quality procedures
Working Conditions
Work will be performed in a safe, modern, well maintained plant environment. Will be expected to wear provided personal protective equipment.
