Shift: 2nd Shift (10:30 AM to 6:30 PM)

The Dairy Process Operator is primarily responsible for monitoring, tending, and/or operating various automated and manually operated equipment to support the daily manufacturing of finished goods.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Operators and observes filling equipment to ensure product quality and conformity to meet customer standards and specifications
- Responsible for keeping accurate weights of bottles throughout the run and provide corrective action when weights cannot be met
- Inspect product for color, flavor or texture, as well as visually inspects for defects and correct capping
- Follow work instructions to ensure correct packaging materials are used
- Cleans equipment after use that is in the filling room and the silo room
- Responsible for reporting unsafe conditions to manager along with and food safety violations
- Records data collection materials
- Stop or reset machine when a malfunction occurs, clear machine jams and report malfunction of machine and/or robot
- Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements as trained
- Perform monthly/weekly preventative maintenance program
- Demonstrate high degree of ownership for product quality, understanding of production schedules and work instructions
- Report to workstation on time; Wear proper work attire; Assist in setting up work area
- Perform duties according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) that meet quality and safety standards pertaining to: Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Wisconsin Department of Agriculture (WDA), and customer requirements

Qualification and Education Requirements
- High school diploma required; Or three to six months related experience; Or equivalent
- Demonstrate intellectual and interpersonal skills through leadership, organization, and self-efficacy
