Fibreworks Composites was founded in 2009 and is privately owned by Guenther Steiner and Joe Hofmann. In 2019 Joe and Guenther decided to launch an AS9100 / ISO certified sister company called Composite Factory. Composite Factory’s primary focus is to diversify our business into Aerospace, Aero structures, Aviation and Defense, and the Medical industries that require a higher level of traceability and certification. Our core mission is to exceed our customers' needs by embracing challenges that surpass the capabilities of our competitors.

Job Summary:
Production Planning
-Create and maintain a daily/weekly schedule that can be viewed by the Management Team
-Assist Management with long term planning of projects
-Work with Production Manager on any project planning input that can improve our process
Production Scheduling
-Create/maintain a production schedule of all departments (Cutting, Demold, Finishing, Kitting, Lamination, Machining) to ensure that all deadlines can be met
-Following week’s production schedule to be completed on Tuesdays, no later than Wednesdays
-Supervisors review production schedule on Wednesdays
-Notify departments of schedule changes on a daily basis
-Create hyperlink in schedule of Work Order
-Liaise with Engineering, Supervisors, and Team Leaders to form an accurate time of completion for parts/projects
-Interact with Engineering on scheduling of projects
-Communicate timelines with the Production Manager/Supervisors and customers
ERP Responsibilities
-Create Sales Orders in to ERP system upon receipt of customer Purchase Order (PO)
-Verify PO matches quote
-Create/send order acknowledgement
-Work with Inventory on material requirements
Daily Production Meetings
-Lead/participate in the daily production meetings with Management and Department Leads
-Review any issues that may cause issues with production such as: material delays, back orders, urgent customer requests, labor, etc.
Weekly Production Meetings
-Meet with Production and Upper Management
-Meet with Machining (Mondays) for scheduling
Daily Scheduling Meetings
-Lead/participate in the daily scheduling meetings with Lamination and Finishing
-Verify updated scheduling changes and status of parts
Customer Service
- Communicate with customer on order status, and pick up availability (via phone, email, OneNote, SharePoint, Status Update Sheet, etc.)
-Ensure that First Article Parts packing slip/paperwork is accurate and ready for customer pick-up/shipment
Work with logistics for any shipping needs
Departments
-Assist material purchasing, logistics, continuous improvements, etc., if needed
-Advise Management of improvements or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process, if needed
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
-Create SOPs to streamline work flow
Leadership
-Research and provide feedback to Management on planning/scheduling best practices. (i.e. MS Project, SharePoint, GSS, etc.)
Goals:
-Be proactive by scheduling orders several weeks out when POs are received to ensure on-time delivery
-Keep up with customer demands, forecast (past and present)
-Be a team player by using any past experiences
-The ability to help the company grow along with the position to make a difference
-Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
-Other responsibilities as assigned
What You Will Bring to the Team:
-Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in composite manufacturing, preferred
-A full understanding of Composite Manufacturing, preferred
-Minimum high school diploma
-Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
-MRP/ERP experience a plus
-Strong organizational skills
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Positive, respectful, can do attitude is a must
-Team worker who works well independently
-Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines
-Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
