POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for preparing, scheduling, and coordinating production orders for all site production lines, aligned with the supply chain forecast. Responsible for planning and maintaining a satisfactory level of material and/or component inventory while maintaining the accuracy of inventory transactions
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT.
· Execute Master Production Schedule – generate process orders, work with Purchasing on materials needs, issue pick lists to support batch record issuance.
· Identifies/resolves upcoming schedule interruptions
· Analyze the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) generation report to determine ordering, expediting, and de-expediting of parts as necessary to support Master Production Schedule (MPS). This includes maintaining an adequate supply of material to support the MPS.
· Prioritizes purchased material for Quality Assurance approval to support MPS.
· Determines and assigns raw material parts for production using the First Expiry-First Out (FEFO) method. Ensures all raw material parts have accurate inventory balances and transactions in SAP to correspond with the master batch record.
· Minimizes the amount of on-hand inventory through careful planning and execution of the MPS. Reviews Obsolete and Excessive Inventory and actively pursues the elimination of obsolete inventory.
· Performs Material Availability check of Planned Orders to identify material shortages. Requests release of quarantined components to support Production Schedule.Experience:
· Generates and maintains Master Recipes (BOM’s) in SAP. Distributes Master Recipe Print List to Production, Accounting and QC departments.
· Supports product launch timelines for new and transferred product introduction. Coordinates new product projects and site validations to ensure materials and line time availability.
· Supports all plant personnel/departments by providing requested data.
· Provides analytical and day to day operational support for all Materials Department functions
· Collaborate with depts. to find effective solutions for obstacles that may arise
· Navigate SAP (VIS, APO, APP, EWM) daily
· Prepares weekly marketing reports and leads meetings when needed to review upcoming marketing unit positions.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree OR Associates Degree with 5+ years of direct production planning experience
· 3+ years experience working with production planning, provisioning, materials management, master data, or manufacturing operations in a regulated GMP environment, pharmaceutical industry preferred
· 3+ years experience planning/scheduling in a production environment
· 3+ years of user experience with SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
· Project management certification
· Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification
· APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
· Working knowledge of cGMP and other regulatory requirements
· Proficient with SAP
· Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, and Word, and the ability to learn and apply new computer programs quickly.
· Experience writing SOP documentation
· Good verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
