Production Operator I - 2nd Shift

Located in Noblesville, IN, Nexxt Spine LLC is a growing company with a state-of-the-art facility where we design and manufacture a rapidly expanding line of spinal implants and instruments.
A Production Operator will support the manufacturing operations of work cells dedicated to producing components for our medical devices. These work cells include Shot Blast, Laser Marking, Laser Weld, Ultrasonic Cleaner & Clean Room. The Production Associate will collaborate closely with the Shift Production Lead and other team members and departments throughout their duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Learn and operate machines in each department - blast room, laser room, clean room, and packaging to complete part finishing tasks such as cleaning, blasting, tumbling, anodizing, laser marking, assembling, and packaging.
- Follow manufacturing procedures for finishing systems to deburr and clean parts.
- Program laser marking systems as required.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company Operational Control Procedures (OCP).
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform routine building and equipment maintenance tasks.
- Help in other departments as needed or requested and execute various projects or tasks relevant to a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate self-motivation to consistently produce high-quality parts.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
- Capable of satisfactorily performing each essential duty.
- Flexible availability to accommodate production needs.
- Excellent manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Hand dexterity for working with spinal implants and instrumentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment preferred but not necessary.
- Welding experience preferred but not necessary.
