The Production Manager will provide and execute the production plan for a fast-paced overhaul and repair operation in line with the forecast, customer needs, and operation demand. On a daily basis, this role will layout the production plan, communicate to the team & execute to meet customer expected ship date. This role will report directly to the Facility Operations Director and will act to drive key performance measures in pursuit of operational excellence (i.e., quality, cost, delivery, response).
Job Responsibilities
- Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production staff in effort to meet client service needs
- Monitor workers to ensure safety and health standards are met to keep the organization accident-free
- Holds accountability for all health and safety protocols being adhered to
- Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
- Maintain an efficient and productive overhaul process that meets customer requirements
- Accountable for overseeing work instructions to ensure accurate and timely execution
- Schedule worker’s and equipment as per the demands on both internal & external customers
- Identify and accelerate maintenance needs within the facility, manage contractors while on site
- Ensure that the equipment and tools function properly, minimizing operational downtime
- Manage subcontractor expectations and deliveries to align with customer due dates
- Fix any production problem that may arise

Experience
- 5 years’ experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment, project coordination and scheduling (working in the field of high-speed rotational machinery/heavy industrial machinery overhaul or manufacturing strongly preferred, but not required)
- Experience in the use of ERP systems to manage work orders and BOM’s
Education Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from higher educational institute
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pass lab-based drug screen as per FAA regulations
- Stand for extended periods, lift to 50 lbs., Work in a shop environment
