Production Manager
Delivery Concepts is located in Elkhart, Indiana and is one of the World’s leading manufacturer of Meals on Wheels and custom temperature control vehicles is seeking an Experienced Production Managerfor their growing company.
Production Manager will be overseeing daily production and working with their team to ensure quality product is delivered to our customers in a timely manner. The Production Manager is directly responsible for the quality and timely completion of units, and projects to meet daily production needs.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Production Supervisors focus on the day-to-day manufacturing operations of assigned manufacturing departments and are responsible to achieve productivity, efficiency, and cost controls. This Manager will Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes and production equipment. Learn and understand all systems and procedures such as personnel safety, quality control, customer satisfaction, manufacturing and plant financials, environmental compliance, production reporting, maintenance, etc.
- Resolves day-to-day complications in scheduling changes, equipment utilization, and personnel requirements.
- Initiate and maintain high plant standards of safety and working conditions to provide maximum protection for the employees and equipment.
- Lead and manage manufacturing team; including training, mentoring, guiding, and disciplining.
- Know and understand company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ work experience that shows progressive movement, with 2-3 year demonstrated ability at a leadership level in a fast paced, progressive environment.
- Ability to demonstrate high performance leadership standards and builds/develops high-performance teams
- Strong desire to train and coach others to improve performance
- Developed reasoning/problem solving skills
- Strong accountability and follow-through skills
- Strong tact and diplomacy; ability to work effectively with staff on all levels
- A high level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, and respect) are necessary qualities
- Self-motivated to work independently in a busy environment with changing priorities and the ability to adapt
- Intermediate computer skills, with strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Highly organized; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments
- Ability to organize and lead team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
