SUMMARY
The Production Manager directs the site manufacturing, tooling and maintenance operations through a team of functional managers and supervisors. The position ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, machines and facility(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct all operational activities to ensure that the trained resources and proper processes are in place to deliver best in class services and solutions
- Achieve financial sustainability during the manufacture of existing products and the development of new opportunities.
- Champion and communicate the vision and mission for the site(s) that focus and empowers employees to meet and exceed expectations for our customers, fellow employees and senior management
- Meet regularly with the leadership team(s) to discuss business operations, including customer needs, employee issues, equipment availability, and new business strategies.
- Maintain a work environment that promotes safety on a daily basis
- Ability to work in and lead a Matrix organization in support of the organizations goals
- Monitor and maintain continuous improvement activity and environmental reporting.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is responsible for the overall supervision of the operations manufacturing, and maintenance to support the achievement of the Company’s financial, customer satisfaction and employee fulfillment goals.
Requirements:
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE
This position requires a four year Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of ten years of experience in a manufacturing organization; a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is preferred.
