Job Summary:
The Production will focus on assisting the department with employee management, production quotas and goals, data tracking in excel, new hire training, and overall daily production employee performance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Wearing appropriate PPE and in the appropriate uniform
- Following GMPs, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Adhering to a proper break schedule and reporting any break of policy to the Supervisor or Manager
- Responsible for coaching and providing corrective actions to employees that are failing to meet quotas
- Responsible for auditing and reporting underperformance via email to the supervisor or manager
- Acts as quality control to ensure that all direct reports are maintaining the quality standards required
- Input data into appropriate spreadsheets daily
- Leads are responsible for training all new hires within their assigned production area
- Leads must communicate effectively with their supervisor to ensure that all elements of production are running smoothly. This includes feedback on meeting goals, performance, quality, equipment, materials, employees, etc
- Other Duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- At least 21 years old per state law
- Experience working in assembly plant - cells or tables - assembling products
- Experience with MS Excel, entering data into spreadsheets daily for reporting
- Ability to lead a team of up to 50 people
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to all levels of management
- Ability to de-escalate situations quickly and effectively
Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisor role with direct reports in a manufacturing facility
- Experience with MS Excel, entering data into spreadsheets daily for reporting
- Experience working in assembly plant - cells or tables - assembling products
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75lbs
