Production Lead

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Production Lead, working Monday-Friday, dayshift.

Production Lead duties include:

• Safely and effectively use and operate hand tools such as a soldering iron, heat gun, power tools and other equipment required for the work
• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Organize work for the manufacturing floor
• Troubleshoot problems to keep production lines running
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Work with low voltage electricity
• Detect and correct quality problems found during the manufacturing process
• Organize, stock and issue supplies and equipment
• Organize and prioritize a variety of tasks in an effective and timely manner; organize own work, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines
• Operates the production machinery in one or more of the following areas: AlphaTech, Hydrolume or LGP production
• Trains others in the standard production processes and equipment used on the production floor
• MS Office (Word, Excel); FedEx, UPS and USPS software systems, and Fishbowl Inventory is a plus
• Excellent listening and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Use tact, initiative, prudence and independent judgment within general policy, procedural and legal guidelines
• Must have excellent attention to detail, be driven, work well independently and have a knack for problem solving
• Establish, maintain and foster positive and effective working relationships, providing a high level of service to customers, Company staff, vendors and contractors

You Have a Unique Combination of Skills, Talents and Mindset, Including Many of the Following:

• High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience and training are typically required
• One year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Two years technical degree or accelerated technical program or equivalent experience/knowledge
• Three-five years proven experience in light/manufacturing/injection molding field
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic equipment, preferred
