Production Foreman- Delaware Basin

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages all aspects of the production operations for specified geographic area. Performs typical responsibilities of management such as requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and coaching.  Work is reviewed to ensure competency in meeting stated goals and objectives.
• Selects, mentors, and develops operators and provides direction on well allocation schedule and workload.
• Acts as first level contact with contractors, vendors, and other outside agencies.
• Maintains high quality relationships with landowners and contractors.
• Acts as liaison between the field production operations staff and the Production Superintendent.
• Works with pumpers and technicians to identify and troubleshoot areas of concern.
• Ensures Laredo and contract employees adhere to Company, State, and Federal and Local rules, regulations, and policies.
• Always demonstrates safe and ethical behavior.
• Maintains regulatory compliance by coordinating closely with the EH&S and Air Quality departments.
• Must be self-motivated and maintain strong ethics, ability to work with minimum supervision, maintain reliable attendance, and demonstrate flexible and cooperative behavior in the workplace

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years oilfield experience including 5 years of supervisory experience as a foreman, assistant foreman or equivalent.
• Detailed knowledge of production operations and expertise in a multitude of artificial lift methods.
• Effective project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
• Computer skills with working knowledge of Word Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees across the organization.
• Demonstrates knowledge of economic evaluations and indicators and their effect on the area of responsibility.
• Needs a good understanding of using SCADA and other technology designed tools and programs

 COMPENSATION:

Salary is commensurate with experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is normally performed outdoors where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, fumes and gases is common.  Noise level is moderate to loud and includes sounds of construction, equipment operations, and trucks and like equipment. Job hazards include working in normal light and heavy construction activities and working around pressured gas, oil, water, electricity, and waste lines and under all weather conditions.  May work in areas where H2S is present.  Overtime is sometimes required.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at moderate to advanced skill level.  Work may require frequent pushing, pulling, or carrying 50-to-75-pound objects such as tools, equipment work operations. Work involves standing and walking most of the time but will also involve sitting and driving for extended periods sometimes over rough terrain.
