The Production Floor Assistant position is part of the Production Team that is supervised by the Head of Manufacturing. This role will assist the production for all beverage manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in various processes in the production line
- Assemble, band, and stow production containers
- Sanitation duties to maintain plant cleanliness
- Quality control tasks to support GMP protocols
- Trained backup for ingredient assembly for production
- Positive attitude with a team building mindset
- Execute good judgment for all escalation to senior management
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
Support Roles
- Warehouse and logistics duties of picking, packing and loading of customer orders as required
- Put away of ingredients and manage FEFO
- Back up support for eCommerce fulfillment department when needed
Capabilities:
- Display proficiency and accuracy with all activities
- Good communication skills and ability to escalate appropriately
- Able to work with all levels of employees
- Frequent lifting of moderate weight materials up to 30 lbs., and occasional lifting of heavy material of 50 lbs
- Ability to function in a fast-paced high energy environment
- Ability to maintain positive awareness of quality assurance and safety
- Reliable mode of transportation to support scheduled shift
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or relevant industry experience
- Ability to read, speak and write English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Willingness to learn multiple stations
- Power Pallet Jack experience is helpful but not a requirement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
