A Yard Jocky will operate a yard truck or shuttle within the company premises.
Back up and pull containers and trailers from docks to yard and vice versa.
Inspect vehicles for defects and report any damages to the supervisor.
Follow safety regulations and company policies..Will unload trucks, transfer and store finished product, along with other duties assigned by management.

A Yard Jocky will operate a yard truck or shuttle within the company premises.
Back up and pull containers and trailers from docks to yard and vice versa.
Inspect vehicles for defects and report any damages to the supervisor.
Follow safety regulations and company policies..Will unload trucks, transfer and store finished product, along with other duties assigned by management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
- Operate trailer within yard or premises.
- Pull and back up trailer to and from loading docks.
- Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas.
- Drive forklift and load trucks with finished products in accordance with customer specifications.
- Transfer and store finished products to the warehouse.
- Repack damaged containers and keep storage area in proper order.
- Assist in inventory of raw material and finished goods.
- Keep material segregated by type and color.
- Fill customer requisitions and shipment orders.
- Assemble boxes and cartons and may hand-pack materials.
- May prepare materials for grinding process.
- May keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Basic computer experience.
