Summary
The Production Control Operator performs a variety of tasks including execution and monitoring of batch processes as well as performing basic computer operations such as file copies and command line input.
• Manage batch processes utilizing AutoSys by following established procedures
• Monitor processes from multiple sources and escalate problem issues according to established procedures
• Enter and execute Solaris Unix commands necessary to carry out operational tasks
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Create and maintain documentation for adequate turnover to colleagues
• Take ownership for issues that arise and follow them through until resolution
Your role in our mission
• Executes batch processes via an automated job scheduling application
• Performs file moves and copies
• Utilizes tools to monitor batch processes
• Executes UNIX command line utilities for system monitoring and maintenance
• Follows a defined set of tasks as documented on daily activity sheets
• Executes system commands under the direction of system engineers
• Creates and maintains documentation daily
• Provides status and progress reporting to customers and co-workers
What we're looking for
• One year of experience in batch processing utilizing a job scheduling application
• Must be able to learn and demonstrate basic UNIX system commands
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible shift including weekends and some holidays
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Proficiency in using basic productivity applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
What you should expect in this role
Shiftwork to include nights and weekends. The shift that we will be filling is Thursday -Saturday 4pm - 5am and every other Sunday
All US locations including remote are being considered.
Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $38,400.00 - $54,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
