Inventory Control Clerk I
To qualify as an Inventory Control ClerkI, the team member must be able to perform general duties that include, but not limited to the following:
- Perform all duties of the Material Handler I
- Safety and proficiently navigate material through the plant as needed.
- Properly check the material in a defined by the receiving process flow chart
- Place received material in the proper location in the plant or warehouse as defined by the supervisor
- Is fully engaged in the quality and on time shipping commitment of Talos.
- Work as a team player interdepartmental and across all departments
- Accurately perform and report inventory counts
- Practices general housekeeping skills
Inventory Control Clerk II
To qualify as an Inventory Control ClerkII, a team member must have all of the qualifications of an Inventory Control ClerkI , and must be able to work independently on projects, without the direction of others, while producing quality work. An Inventory Control ClerkII must be proficient in:
- Organized and manage all production parts, assembly components and finished goods.
- Understand the workflow of the plant and outside warehouses.
- Has completed all the necessary training to make inventory adjustments correctly and appropriately.
- Skilled in identifying production, assembly parts, and finished goods. Can pull drawings to assist in the identification and search of required parts.
- Understand the process for moving inventory from plant to plant, plant to warehouses or vice versa. Can make general inventory transfers in abas to correct inventory and put away product in abas.
- This individual will also be responsible for the training of entry level Inventory Control ClerkI as needed
- Sets the work pace for themselves and those around them.
- Understands how products travel through production and assembly and why they travel in the order that they do.
Inventory Control ClerkIII
To qualify as an Inventory Control Clerk III, a team member must have all the qualifications of an Inventory Control Clerk II, and must be able to work independently on projects, without the direction of others, while producing quality work. An Inventory Control Clerk III must be proficient in:
- Evaluate assembly and production stock and can participate in inventory replenishment and shortfalls through the correct channels of communication.
- The team member must also be able to organize production, assembly, and finished good parts for maximum efficiency, and must have a full understanding of the manufacturing process at Talos.
- Is trained and able to work in more than one kitting area in Talos.
