Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Chemist is responsible for day-to-day assistance of Central Processing Facility operations personnel with resolving production process upsets via chemical treatments. This technician will coordinate, and conduct production process related chemical testing at the CPF and drill site levels. This position will take guidance from engineers and serve as a liaison between chemical vendors, field operations and operations support personnel. The work schedule will be a rotational hitch of 21 days on, followed by 21 days off, or 14 days on and 14 days off. Daily work shifts will be 12 hours.
Employees are not required to move. All employees are required to travel to Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, AK at their own expense, then the company will provide flights from Anchorage to/from the North Slope for the work rotation.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-year college degree in a science field
- 5 years of relevant laboratory or field experience
- Chemistry or Chemical Engineering degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
