Production Associate

We are looking for full time permanent, or if desired, temporary employees to join our team as Production Associates.

This role entails running machinery such as cleaners, de-stoners, gravity tables, color sorting machines, an infrared line, mill room operation as well as other hardware. All training will be provided and no previous experience is necessary

A large part of the role will entail cleaning the machinery as well as the plant. Some is accomplished using air, while sweeping and scraping may be utilized in other areas.

Being able to repeatedly lift up to 60 #’s (normally 25 to 50#’s) to stack bags on pallets is required. Frequent standing, squatting, kneeling and walking is required.

80% of your time is spent inside the plant while approximately 20% of the time will be outside unloading trucks, cleaning the grain pit or readying machinery.

Normal shifts for Production Associates are Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm. This “bakes in” overtime to get the biggest bang for the buck and your time. It includes two 15 minute paid breaks and an unpaid 1/2 hour lunch.

WAGE BREAKDOWN

STARTING wage is $15/hr = 2080 regular hours worked x $15 = $31,200

Overtime worked is $22.5/hr = (approx) 375 annual OT hours x $21 = $8,437

Retention Incentive is $1 for every hour worked = 2,455 x $1 = $2,455

AVERAGE STARTING ANNUAL EARNINGS = (approx) $42,000 a year – with plenty of room for growth!!!
