SUMMARY: Pharmgate Biologics is passionate about developing high quality, innovative animal health biologicals. We are seeking a Production Assistant to join our team. The person filling this role must be dependable, high attention to detail, and integrity to following processes. Experience or knowledge working in a laboratory kitchen is desirable. Must possess great communication skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Majority of the duties include washing and sterilizing lab-ware, equipment, and anything used during production.
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation of quality control
- Support the daily needs of our production department
- Willing and able to clean at a sink the majority of the day
- Reliable with strong attendance
- Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain high quality and production methods/standards
- Maintain proper records and reports
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and push large containers on dollies

EDUCATION:
- Minimum of a high school education
- 1-2 years’ experience working as a Lab Assistant preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to both office settings and manufacturing environments. Exposure to manufacturing environments with moving mechanical parts. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for their entire shift.
