Product Testing Coordinator Intern

Rapsodo Inc. is a sports analytics company that uses computer vision and machine learning to help all athletes maximize their performance. Our proprietary technology applications range from helping PGA Tour golfers optimize their launch conditions to allowing MLB pitchers to increase the efficiency of their breaking balls. Current partners include all 30 MLB teams, MLB, USA Baseball, Golf Digest, PGA of America, and over 1000 NCAA athletic departments.

As Rapsodo continues to grow and expand our business, we are looking for a hands-on, driven, and empathetic Product Testing Coordinator Intern with a passion for collaborating and making a difference.

The successful incumbent will report directly to the Project Manager, Product Testing and will work closely with software developers and product managers to iron out any bugs in the products and improve the quality of the finished product.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, accuracy, and robustness standards)
• Inspect physical machinery to identify defects and malfunctions•
• Monitor all production stages to ensure safety procedures are followed
• Run quality controls on components and final products
• Develop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems
• Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes
• Suggest fixes and improvements
• Document technical issues and solutions
• Built automated testing systems for regular checks
• Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards (eg. ISO)

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical acts including but not limited to: lifting objects over 25 lbs and proficiently being able to throw and hit a baseball and/or golf ball
• Previous experience as a Test Coordinator or similar role a plus but not required
• Familiarity with various testing techniques
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
• Great troubleshooting skills
• Analytical mindset
• Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
