Brandt is currently looking to fill a Product Specialist - Material handler position for the Texas region.
Reporting to the Vice President, the Product Specialist - Material Handler is responsible for achieving sales budget in the assigned product lines, and for supporting the product-line success of an assigned team of territory managers and dealers.
The Product Specialist- Material Handler will create and expand relationships with existing and new customers/dealers by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines. This position will lead the launch of new assigned products in a defined geographical area. In collaboration with the field sales team and dealers, the successful candidate will assist and train on qualified opportunities for both customer sales and dealer development.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the success of an assigned team of territory managers and dealers.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines.
- Help US Sales Manager with US launch of the Brandt Material Handler with a 5 year growth strategy to target the right markets and dealers with primary focus on the US John Deere Construction & Forestry dealers
- Provides coaching, training, and professional development to territory managers in order to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
- Provide and participate with Brandt’s product planners on competitor product feature comparison and market based pricing feedback.
- Lead demand-generating marketing activities in the assigned market for the assigned product specialty.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key producers.
Required Skills
- Background in construction and Material Handler sales experience
- Experience in Scrap handling and/or Forestry industry considered a strong asset
- The ability to perform to the highest degree energy with minimal supervision
