NetApp is looking for an Intern to support the Flash Storage Product Marketing team to drive product awareness with customers, field, and partners and elevate team visibility internally. The Intern will work closely with the Product Marketing team and also have exposure to social media marketing, channel marketing, product operations, and executive communications. A successful candidate will build an internal/external communications strategy that can be sustained by the team after the internship is completed.
Activities/deliverables from this internship may include:
- Marketing communications: Develop an editorial calendar for NetApp.com blog posts and social media content; produce a template and process for communicating marketing activities/successes to product management; collaborate with Product Marketing managers to provide relevant content into field and partner communications vehicles.
- Non-technical competitive research: Research a specific type of asset, or product positioning across competitors - collect, review and analyze positioning, structure, content. Deliver report.
- Sales enablement: Assist in the creation of at least one sales enablement asset relevant to a topic, product launch or announcement that are relevant at the time of the internship.
- Asset creation: Create a least one asset such as a customer flyer, blog post, solution brief, sales enablement asset, depending on relevant topics and need at the time of the internship.
- Highly energetic personality with a positive attitude towards work and excitement to take on new responsibilities.
- A self-starter and quick learner who is able to work independently once given clear objectives and the necessary context to be successful.
- Great team player who works well in collaborative situations.
- Organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to write and express ideas clearly is key to the success of this role.
- Proficiency with Mac version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program focusing on Business, Marketing, Communications or similar through summer 2024 or later.
