Job Description

Trek's Bike Product Marketing Team is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Coordinator to support projects that help make Trekbikes. com the world's favorite bike shop and execute top-notch product launches across all product categories. Reporting directly to the Road Bike Product Marketing Manager, the role presents a unique opportunity to help provide amazing hospitality to our customers and make the world a better place by getting more people on bikes.

What you'll do as a Product Marketing Coordinator:

Website:

• Monitor and respond to content error issues reported on Trekbikes.com.
• Coordinate with Product Managers to create detailed descriptions for every part of every Trek Road, City, and Kids' bike with a keen eye for accurate details and consistent formatting.
• Maintain current and accurate data on bike detail pages including updating copy, images, media reviews, and tech documents.
• Complete content creation tasks for all bikes including copy proofing, assigning assets and related products, reviewing tech documents, and updating related pages.
• Maintain accurate data in Size Finder, Bike Finder, and Suspension Calculator, including copy and image updates.

Launches:

• Assist Copywriting with messaging and product detail accuracy on all launch asset copy including web pages, e-mails, in-store displays, web and print advertising, presentations, and press releases.
• Write and edit scripts for product walkthroughs, retailer training videos, and consumer-facing videos.
• Assemble comprehensive media kits including product details, photography, and other assets in user-friendly formats.
• Create retailer-facing introduction articles including detailed FAQ and tech documents.
• Assist with all aspects of photo/video production, including planning and logistics for action photo shoots which may require occasional travel.
• Coordinate internal Trek staff training on new product.
• Assist with additional asset creation introducing new product as requested by Product Marketing Managers.
• Manage creation of platform-specific aftermarket accessory assets to coincide with bike launch timeline

Other:

• Manage the shipping/tracking/selling of Road and City marketing bikes.
• Create additional tech docs and sell sheets as requested by Sales and Customer Service.
• Coordinate Trek Central app B2C and B2B marketing.
• Assist with events as needed, including occasional travel to onsite activation.

• Mechanical understanding of Trek's Road, Mountain, and City bikes
• Familiarity with market and customer segments of all categories of bikes
• Workfront software expertise
• Proficient copywriting skills
• Drive to get shit done fast and right, and work across multiple teams to find the solution
