About the Role:

GPS Capital Markets is looking for a Product Manager to join our current development team (Devshack). You will work within the development department while also working with the business to define products and projects, in addition you will assist with the creation of User Stories aiding the development team to get answers to the unknowns. In this role, you should be able to gather the necessary information to identify products and projects to help GPS progress, working independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Your goal will be to learn the GPS systems to better assess GPS growth.

• Heavily partner with Product and Engineering teams to produce requirements in scrum epics, features, and user stories.
• Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
• Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases and technical requirements
• Specify functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineers
• Collaborate closely with engineers, production, marketing, and sales team in the development, testing and release of products
• Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues
• Collate feedback from sales and customers

Required Qualifications:

• Experienced as product owner/manager in agile software development environments
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Ability to work with minimal information
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and processes.
