Tergar Meditation Community supports individuals, practice groups, and meditation communities worldwide in learning to live with awareness, compassion, and wisdom. Grounded in the Tibetan Buddhist lineage of our guiding teacher, Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, our online and in-person programs are accessible to people of all cultures and faiths, and support a lifelong path toward the application of these principles in everyday life.
Tergar International is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that develops and delivers Tergar programs, in partnership with our sister organization Tergar Asia. Tergar International is based in the United States of America in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota, with a staff of nearly 40 employees and core contractors who work in various locations worldwide.
Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Online LearningProduct Manager to lead the development and growth of our online meditation learning offerings (Joy of Living). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our online education initiatives, enhancing the user experience, and ensuring our programs continue to meet the needs of our diverse global audience.

Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Co-create and execute a comprehensive product strategy for Tergar's Online Learning platform, aligning it with the organization's goals and mission.
- Market Research: Continuously assess the competitive landscape and market trends to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring our offerings remain cutting-edge.
- User-Centric Approach: Champion the user experience, conducting user research and gathering feedback to drive product improvements.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to define, prioritize, and deliver new features and content.
- Content Management: Oversee developing and curating high-quality meditation and mindfulness content, ensuring it aligns with Tergar's teachings and values.
- Quality Assurance: Focuses on implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of education and engagement in our online products.
- Product Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, track key performance metrics, and optimize product performance.
- Communication: Communicate the product vision and roadmap to all stakeholders, including the Tergar team, members, and partners.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in product management, particularly in developing Online Learning or educational products.
- A strong understanding of meditation, mindfulness, or related fields is an advantage.
- Experience with Joy of Living and Vajrayana Online programs is desirable.
- Ability to work in a remote and collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for the mission and values of the Tergar Meditation Community.
- A passion for solving problems and a practical hands-on approach to the job.
Additional Requirements:
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong empathic and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of meditation practices, theories, and trends.
- Familiarity with Online Learning platforms (LMS) and mobile app development.
- Personal meditation practice or a keen interest in mindfulness and Buddhism is a plus, but not required.

Working Conditions
- This is a 100% remote position that requires reliable internet access and personal workspace
- This position may require occasional travel.
- The position requires sitting at a computer for long periods.
Compensation
- Annual USD 56,000-$67,000 / commensurate with location, skills, and experience
- This position is open to international candidate submissions.
