Product / Business Development Manager – EKD/Drag Chain

HELUKABEL® USA, Inc. has an opportunity for a Product / Business Development Manager for our Drag Chain products and EKD product line. This role requires developing product growth and marketing strategies to support sales efforts to OEM customers, end users, and integrators. This position requires an industrial IQ in electrical dynamic applications and cable management within a drag chain application, customer solutions in application design, and product management.

Responsibilities:

• Product management of our EKD “Drag Chain” product line
• Provide technical support to existing and potential customers
• Support the inside and outside sales teams with application support
• Directly interact with product management and engineering of EKD HQ in Germany to coordinate application and product development efforts
• Create and implement (EKD) processes/procedures for international and domestic supply chain and inventory
• Create and implement US “Go-To-Market” strategy for the United States
• Identify suitable drag chain applications and provide recommendations and/or solutions
• Conduct hands-on training sessions at OEM/MRO, system integrators and customer sites with outside sales
• Learn and utilize SAP By Design (CRM) database
• Actively train, guide, and support the Helukabel outside sales team
• Lead the business development efforts to increase market presence
• Be aware of competition and market trends as related to US applications and industries
• Frequent travel with outside sales team to support local business development and sales efforts

Desired Skills and Preferred Experience:

· Industrial Drag Chain Experience: 5+ years of comprehensive industrial application experience (dynamic application within a drag chain); technical applications for cable assemblies and energy chain a must

· Product Knowledge: A solid understanding of the US drag chain market, customer base and targets and how to navigate for industrial automation manufacturing, machine building and distribution

· Application Knowledge: Industrial plant and/or factory automation experience including VFDs, servos, PLCs, data comm, etc. Cable assembly and harnesses, continuous flex cables for drag chain and/or robotic dress pack applications.

· Industry Knowledge: Having direct experience working in the electrical side of industrial plant automation and/or through direct channel partners (distribution, integrator, contractor, etc.)

· Customer Base Knowledge: Existing network of contacts and customers or ability to develop and manage multiple OEM/MRO and integrators in the industrial automation sector

· Ability to utilize SAP CRM and execute essential Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint requirements for presentations, strategies, and reporting

· Experience in preparing monthly management reports and annual forecasts for budgeting

· Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to plan (4-week calendar) and execute sales strategies efficiently and productively

Compensation & Benefits:

· Remote Position (Reimburse Expenses)

· Competitive Base salary with uncapped monthly commissions for VAS-produced revenue

Compensation will commensurate with experience

· Monthly fixed car allowance plus monthly variable mileage reimbursement
