Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in a product management, consulting, co-founder, or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in consumer product management or software development, with experience in developing and launching successful products.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams located around the globe in different timezones.
- Experience successfully inventing innovative and user-friendly products, with excellent user experience intuition.
- Understanding of technical concepts, ability to work with engineering teams and map product requirements to technical systems/architecture.
- Ability to adapt to new situations and manage multiple tasks with a high tolerance for ambiguity.

As a Product Manager for Google Translate, you will be responsible for guiding multiple cross-functional teams in the definition and development of our consumer experience related initiatives. This will include key areas of the Translate experience such as AI/ML powered experiences, mobile apps, and partnerships across Google. You will develop the product vision and roadmap for your areas in close collaboration with senior stakeholders, as well as collaborate across a variety of internal teams on the execution of your vision.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.
- Create product requirements, co-lead product design and development, own product roadmaps, and launch new products and features.
- Define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or performance metrics, both quantitative and qualitative, for new or existing features and experiences.
- Lead collaboration with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting edge AI/ML technologies.
- Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
