Product Manager

Are you a Product Manager with experience building consumer experiences? Are you a creative problem solver who is ready to drive results?
MealPal is looking for a Product Manager to plan and execute product features, ideas, and optimizations throughout the entire MealPal member experience. This is a hands-on role combining data analysis, strategic thinking, and execution. You will work closely with a designer and multiple engineers to build and launch various product offerings. You will have a strong analytical abilities, creative skills, excellent communication and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:

• ️ Drive product strategy and requirements for new features and product offerings for MealPal members.
• ️ Partner with engineers to define requirements and ensure the correct functionality is built.
• ️ Develop new ideas for product offerings and optimizations that align with business goals and member feedback.
• ️ Manage weekly spring planning for the engineering team, as well as larger product roadmap.
• ️ Operate with a growth mindset, and analyze user data and product offerings to optimize for member acquisition and retention.

Requirements:

• ️ This role is ideal for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in Product Management.
• ️ Start-up marketing experience is a plus. Generally you are a scrappy self-starter willing to roll up your sleeves and drive projects to completion.
• ️ Data-driven with a problem-solving mentality. Strong Excel skills
• ️ Nice to have (but not essential) basic understanding of SQL and prior experience working with a subscription based business
• ️ This is a full-time in-office role based in New York, Monday - Friday. It is not a hybrid or remote working role.

Compensation:

• ️ Competitive base salary - starting at $100k per year (up to $150k per year for exceptionally experienced candidates)
