About the role

We are looking for a Product professional with a few years of experience ready to take the step from Junior Product Manager to Product Manager and lead a development team to take segment of our world-class products to the next level. You will be partnered with a development team, leading the charge, creating outcomes for our solid customer base and introducing new functionality to help our business continue to grow.

As a Product Manager you will own the roadmap for your product development team and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver an effective product strategy.

Requirements

• Education: BA/BS preferred.
• Years of Related Experience: 2+ years of cloud software product management experience.
• Proven ability to work in an agile software development environment as a Product Owner.
• Unquestionable integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Successful track record leading the development of software products within deadlines.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Work Mountain Time business hours.

Skills

• Product discovery: Understanding of techniques used to discover the value, viability, usability, and feasibility of product development initiatives.
• User research: Ability to schedule, perform, and interpret the results of user research and usability testing.
• Requirement definition: Ability to capture and clearly articulate the outcome of work to be done detailing each requirement required to successfully achieve it.
• Prioritization: Ability to use the tools at your disposal to weigh and make educated decisions about the sequence and priority of work.
• Data: Ability to interpret quantitative data to inform decision making.
• Go to market: Ability to articulate how our products will succeed in our target market.
• Delivery techniques: Understanding of the product development lifecycle and how to sequence work to effectively deliver outcomes.
• Collaboration: Keen understanding of the roles and contributions of PM, UX, Engineering, and stakeholders to drive effective decision making as a group and define outcomes that will make a positive impact on our customers.
• Technical prowess: strong understanding of software systems, architecture, and development techniques so that you can actively participate in engineering discussions.
• Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Evangelism: Ability to effectively communicate plans, present content, lead discussions, and articulate the “why” behind the outcomes you’re trying to deliver.
• Leadership: Ability to earn the trust and respect of your team and stakeholders to drive efficient and valuable outcomes.
• Design: Passion for creating exceptional and intuitive user experiences and a willingness to advocate for them.
• Self-starter: RizePoint is fully remote with employees all around the world. You will need to be able to effectively organize your time and rally team members to effectively deliver results.
