As a Product Line Technician, the successful candidate will have the following duties and will need to meet qualification standards as set out below. Career development advancement to lead positions is encouraged. Significant training with benchmarked proficiencies provided to qualified candidates.
Under the direction of the Alaska District Manager, The Product Line Specialist shall have the following job duties:
- Assist Senior Product Line Specialist with downhole tool disassembly and assembly.
- Clean and prepare BHA (Bottom Hole Assembly) components for inspection and redress.
- Perform general housekeeping in the camp and shop.
- Pull and package screen orders for drilling rigs.
- Shipping and receiving.
- Assist with job preparedness. Load and unload downhole tools.
- Transport job equipment to field as needed, day or night.
The Product Line Technician shall have the following experience and qualifications.
- 2 Years Experience in Oil and Gas industry is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, detail oriented and an eagerness to learn.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset.
- Safety Oriented.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must pass national background check, motor vehicle report and drug screening.
- Ability to work legally in the U.S.A.
- Ability to work rotating schedule to North Slope, AK – Two/Three weeks on, 12 hours per day – Two/Three weeks off.
- Willingness to accept on-call assignments as required.
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent is required.
- Possession of or ability to obtain NSTC safety certification.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
