Job Description
Eataly is seeking a Product Intern for Summer 2024 to work with and learn from Eataly’s Product & Grocery Team. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian!
Under the supervision of the Category Manager of Grocery, the intern will:
- Learn about Eataly’s products and the manufacturing details.
- Liaise with external vendors to assist in product distribution.
- Collaborate with the Finance and store managing teams to organize databases of products, vendors and categories
- Perform a system clean-up of Eataly’s current product data to optimize system functionality for the Product Team
- Demonstrate organizational skills by monitoring and maintaining the data set in excel.
- Continuously working on PowerPoints to display the finer details of new products being launched in Eataly stores worldwide.
- Compile data for products by traveling to Eataly store locations and analyzing labels of existing and new shipments.
- Design and create a final presentation researching new trends for the food market in 2025.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
This internship runs from June – August. The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from approximately 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.
Qualifications
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Passion for the food and beverage industry
- Working knowledge of Italian language preferred
The compensation for this role is $16 per hour
