Mission of the Role: Gain insight into both the management and technical aspects of security development for automotive ECUs.
Key Objectives of this Role: Learn and apply concepts of automotive security into different assignments as support for project deliverables. The intern will be able to understand the ISO/SAE 21434 standard framework and how it is applied as the context for the activities and projects being assigned.
Key Deliverables: The projects and their corresponding deliverables, scope and metrics will be defined upon the initial part of the internship considering the intern expertise background, area of interest and current active needs within the Global Product Cybersecurity team.
Key Performance Indicators: Independently from the type of the specific deliverable, e.g., software utility, library, or standard work product, it will be assessed according to the internal quality aspects considering completeness, efficiency and consistency against the requirements given.
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Have or be in the last year of an Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or similar degree.
- Medium programming or scripting experience.
- Familiarity with embedded systems design, architecture, implementation, and verification.
- Familiarity with common automotive communication technologies.
- Familiarity with common security solutions and cryptographic algorithms.

Reporting Structure: This role will report to lead members of the Global Product Cybersecurity Team.
