This role is responsible for leading, managing, and supporting Global Product Cybersecurity programs, projects, and initiatives to drive positive changes and continuous improvements to the Dana Product Cybersecurity posture. This individual will oversee the creation, resource and budget planning, execution, implementation of the cybersecurity projects and initiatives, and will keep all parts of the projects move forward on time to achieve success. This individual will have the ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging deadlines. The job responsibilities will vary over time as it will touch many aspects of the growing Global Product Cybersecurity organization.
Owns engineering project timeline and implementation of necessary cybersecurity measures, works with the cybersecurity team to get the work breakdown structure (cost estimate) for the technical activities in alignment with the overall program milestones, including customer deliverables.
Ensures the engineering project team is properly budgeted and staffed in alignment with Global Head of Product Cybersecurity and the project is completed on time with quality
Ensures project execution is compliant with Dana's internal process and the ISO/SAE 21434 processes, ensures the project deliverables and work products are compliant to the ISO/SAE 21343 standard
Represents engineering team in internal/customer meetings, presenting project milestones, issues, change requests, risks, etc.
Responsible for project problems/issues and escalation of those issues to resolve them
Establishes and reports engineering KPIs to engineering management, including budget (ED&T) and resource planning status
Support RFQ/RFI and execution
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, IT or other relevant disciplines
Advanced degrees such as MBA or Master's preferred
Degrees in cybersecurity preferred
Industry certifications such as PMP, ISO/SAE 21434, CISSP, Security+ highly preferred
7 years of experience in managing large scale projects or programs
2 years of experience working on cybersecurity topics
5 + years of experience working in automotive Product Cybersecurity space is highly desired
Expertise using project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.
Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel, PowerBI, etc.
Microsoft Teams and managing SharePoint
Experience in working with cross-functional team, influencing, negotiating with, and gaining buy-in from others, including senior leadership
Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434, TISAX, ISO 27001, UNR 155/156, GDPR, NIST Cybersecurity Framework preferred
Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals
