SalaryOur customer, an American cloud computing storage device Company, is looking for an Interim Technology/Product Counsel to work full-time remotely for 6 months of engagement.
Specifically, you will
- Draft and structure product-specific terms to be incorporated into product offerings, draft custom templates (such as Terms of Service, API licenses, specification licenses, or similar licenses).
- Handle overflow assignments in both on-premises and cloud products/services.
- Familiar with product life cycle, service offerings and associated policies. Counsel businesses on such matters.
- Familiar with product life cycle process.
- Assist in creating templates, processes, and playbooks as business models evolve.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience drafting technology transactions, inbound technology licenses, software licenses, SaaS agreements, supply chain, and other agreements.
- J.D. and admission to practice law in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Legal experience in a major law firm or in-house legal department supporting technology transactions and product-related legal issues.
- Open-source experience.
- Strong work ethic and self-starter, with a growth mindset.
- Flexibility in working hours in a global enterprise.
- Strategic thinker, but can also be detail-oriented, ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Excellent team player and interpersonal skills.
