Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Configuration Management Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Configuration Management Specialist Level 1 ensures the accuracy and proper dissemination of product configuration data. Implements and enforces proper product configuration identification, effective change control and configuration status accounting. This position typically reports to the Engineering Configuration Manager and works under a high degree of supervision.

What you will be doing
Maintain configuration control in accordance with the program CM plan to ensure compliance with internal, customer and regulatory requirements.
Distribute Change Requests (CRs) to appropriate reviewers.
Distribute Change Implementation Board (CIB) notices for review and approval.
Assess engineering drawing releases and design changes to ensure the appropriate level of drawing. control, change classification, and item identification based on customer and regulatory requirements.
What We Are Looking For
Basic understanding of Configuration Management theories and principles as well as practical experience.
Basic understanding of the relationship of all types of configuration data and how they are assembled in a database to facilitate configuration queries and reports.
Strong computer skills (ERP and PDM experience preferred).
Working knowledge of hardware and software Configuration Management.
