Job purpose

We are looking for a Aggregate Application Specialist to join our growing team. This roles responsibility is to ensure that PECO customers get optimum results from our aggregate equipment and that the equipment is used in proper application. The ideal candidate will have a s background in equipment service and support, have a commitment to Safety and desire to provide first class customer service.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Inspect equipment prior to shipping for wear parts, guards, and proper settings.
  • Assist and/or direct customers on proper set up of equipment.
  • Train customers on proper operation and maintenance of aggregate equipment.
  • Assist customers optimize their production and achieve desired product specifications.
  • Routinely visit customer sites to inspect rented equipment for maintenance and proper operation. Also inspect rented equipment prior to its return to go over damages and needed repairs with customer.
  • Assist service department when directed to get units ready or repaired.
  • Assist service department to help get repairs warranted.
  • Accompany sales reps on customer visits when directed to discuss application and recommend best solutions.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of aggregate experience
  • Skill in the use of a variety of diagnostic testing and tuning equipment.
  • Working experience with computer systems preferred
  • Advanced technical software application understanding with relevant industry experience highly desired.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills to ensure high level customer service
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to travel 20%

Working conditions

  • Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling; climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant finger dexterity necessary.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment WorkSTEPS physical.
  • Requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen to the satisfaction of Power Equipment Company.
  • This position is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
  • Must a possess a clean MVR & valid Driver's License 
  • Requires working and driving outdoors in various climates/temperatures and the possibility of sitting for an extended period.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected hourly range for this Colorado position is between $70,000 to $80,000 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
