Produce Sales Associate

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities to grow our customer base.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to understand inventory levels and product availability.
• Provide customers with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the produce sector.
• Contribute ideas for improving sales strategies and marketing efforts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the produce or related industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the produce market and product knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish, Bangla language skills are a plus)

• Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to industry trends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
