Job Title: Procurement and Inventory Specialist
Responsibilities:
As a Procurement and Inventory Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement of materials and managing inventory levels to support our operations efficiently. Candidate must be knowledgeable with JobBOSS² and proficient in the following tasks:
Material Procurement:
- Coordinate the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of all materials.
- Monitor and track deliveries, taking necessary actions to meet production needs.
- Manage the generation of purchase orders, acknowledge receipts, and address backordered materials.
- Check materials against purchase orders upon delivery.
- Collaborate with Project Management and Production to ensure timely availability of materials.
Inventory Management:
- Manage and maintain warehouse inventory levels.
- Utilize warehouse management systems, including JobBOSS², to track and monitor inventory.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze data and generate reports on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory processes.
- Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies related to inventory management.
Experience and Qualifications
Inventory and Procurement:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing/warehouse operations and best practices.
- Knowledge or understanding of materials i.e.: aluminum, steel, round tube, square tube, etc.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience with JobBOSS² or similar systems.
- Customer service-oriented.
Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: 4/10 (Monday-Thursday) 6:30 am - 5:00 pm
This is a long-term, full-time opportunity, must be able to work an 4/10 schedule (in person), Monday -Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, and occasional overtime as needed. Compensation will be based on experience.
Salary: $20.63 - $24.85 per hour, based on experience.
