Procurement Analyst

As a Procurement Analyst, Ingredients, you will play a critical role in streamlining our ingredient sourcing data and providing excellent customer service to our bakeries. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills to manage our SAP database, resolve issues, and collaborate cross-functionally. Responsibilities:

SAP Database Administration

• Apply knowledge of SAP and work processes to manage database administration, purchase price variance, invoice discrepancy resolution, vendor registration, credits, and OA support for bakeries to ensure supply with minimal rework. 
• Manage a variety of routine and non-routine daily contacts with multiple Suppliers, R&D, Bakeries, Accounts Payable and others as needed to obtain information necessary to support using bakeries for their requirements.  This information includes prices, specs, timing requirements and availability.
• Support of new ingredient set up in the Aspire Bakeries system, coordinating the process with all impacted stakeholders including R&D, Regulatory, FSQA, Operations, etc.
• Serve as analytical and SAP support for Procurement team members.

Projects

• Support sourcing activities or projects, inquiries, negotiations, supplier follow-up, etc. as assigned and directed by managers.
• Direct involvement with Accounting, Finance, and Commercialization functions to meet costing and pricing requests

Sourcing

• Supports with analysis and data entry for various procurement categories.
• Supports Category Managers with the supplier and product qualifications
• Develop relationships with the bakery contacts to support business needs and predict changes and updates needed for seamless ERP
• Participates and supports in annual budget and standard cost development.
• Assists with the administration of  RFP / RFQ / RFI.
• Supports bakery with supply challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Superior critical thinking skills and ability to structure analyses to solve poorly defined problems.
• Solid communication, problem-solving, and research abilities are necessary.
• Solid Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Prior experience with SAP is preferred.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

The final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed In this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
