We are currently seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Strategic Procurement team. This role is based in Downers Grove, IL and will report into SVP Procurement. In this role, you will serve as a member of the Strategic Procurement Team by performing procurement analytics, tracking procurement metrics, automate procurement processes, manage and track supplier payment terms, prepare RFQ packages, run reverse auctions and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibility:

• Analyze spend and productivity data
• Track Procurement Metrics Against Goals and manage Procurement dashboard
• Audit productivity projects and maintain productivity tracker
• Monitor and review commodity trends and analyze how it impacts Procurement performance
• Validate supplier pricing with appropriate Procurement category manager to ensure compliance within contract.
• Track DPO performance
• Supplier contract management
• Support Procurement team with monthly reporting and ad hoc reports, as required.
• Work with cross-functional team

_ Qualifications: _

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or other quantitative/technical discipline
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience or more in consumer packaged or comparable experience. Candidate must have critical problem solving, fact based, and quantitative analysis experience
• Proficiency in PC and business software applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to facilitate analytic discussion and review of data findings and recommendations for the project
• Strong research and data-driven analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data efficiently and effectively
• Knowledge of SAP & BI a plus
• Strong ability and willingness to work independently and collaboratively, with all levels of the organization
