Job Description

The Procurement Analyst will serve as liaison between the customer and suppliers to procure services and supplies. Will also procure supplies and services for internal use. Evaluate products and services from vendors to determine which ones should be purchased at a fair and reasonable price. Will also be responsible for communication pricing and performance needs to suppliers. In addition to documenting processes and generating reports.

Responsibilities for Procurement Analyst

• Identify suppliers of goods and services
• Teamwork is critical
• Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
• Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods
• Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders
• Analyze invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered
• Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive
• Attend meetings with the Contracts to ensure any contractual obligations are favorable to the company
• Work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements
• Demonstrated ability to resolve contractual and performance issues with suppliers.
• Purchase Order / Supplier Management

Qualifications for Procurement Specialist

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, in a related field
• Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required
• Additional certification in the field of procurement desired
• Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to be task-focused and detail oriented, with strong follow up for assigned action items
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of Unanet Accounting System a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per year
