Located near the Houston Ship Channel. Oil refining company. Hybrid/partially remote position.

More information

• Serve as the SIS/Flare subject matter expert for the site
• Hybrid role: about half and half site and home.
• Must know/work with the appropriate API, ASME, OSHA, NFPA, etc, systems
• Design new systems and improve/fix existing systems at site.
• Work with the other PSM engineers and engineering/projects team for support
• Provide the technical support of MOC for subject area
• Ongoing analysis of existing systems, compliance audits of systems (alone or as part of integrated PSM audits)
• Risk analysis
• Work is both in plants/site and office
• Well supported role: there is a PSM team and engineering team. You support them/they you.

Required

• Appropriate 4 year degree (or more) in engineering required
• Experience in as much of the above as possible (absolutes noted)
• MUST know PSM and SIS.
• Site is an active refining and related pipeline, loadouts, processing, feed, etc, site. Must be able to in and around such an area.
• Must be able to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship/visa now or in the future.
