Process Engineer

As Process Engineer, you will drive improvements in production of Motion NEMA Motors in Columbus, Mississippi.

This position reports to

Engineeing Manager

Your responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
• Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes while performing process simulations
• Project management for cost justifications and time constraints
• Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Perform risk assessments by taking measurements and interpreting data in turn, providing process documentation and operating instructions

Your background

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years experience
• Preferred experience includes:
• Designing new processes in a manufacturing environment including capital approval processes
• Proven work experience in Process Engineering including specification of equipment, run-off, and installation of equipment
• Knowledge of process related standards, Health and Safety regulations (OSHA)
• Experience in process simulations including time studies, line balancing
• Working knowledge of Process Engineering software packages, CAD, AutoCad, Thingworx, Flexsim or other IIOT and simulation software
• CNC machine tool experience, G code, machining processes, PLC(Programable Logic Controller) and machine connectivity knowledge and SQL programming language knowledge
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
